“Here’s Johnny!”

That’s pretty much all I know about Stanley Kubrick’s “The Shining”. Well, that’s not true. I sort of know the story, but it surprises me that I’ve never seen this movie! Which is why I added it to my list of 31 before 31. And that’s why I purchased it through Amazon for a whopping $6.15. So now I really have no excuse :). Time for a movie night!

  1. Enjoy!Afterwards, you should read the book, if only to compare the two. I loved this movie . . . until the book! That and the Wendy character is much stronger in the book than how Shelley Duvall portrays her in the film.Anyways, I’d love to hear what you think about it!

  2. I’ll definitely let you know what I think! Now about also reading the book…. well… since I don’t read all that often, this may take a while :). Also, there are so many other books on the list of books I need to read first!
