A Space to Simplify

minimography_coffee

So… welcome to my new website. I’m excited that you’ve found this space. To kick off my journal, I figured I’d write about what this journal is all about.

These days, I have many topics entering and leaving my mind. It’s like a jumbled mess in there, which could be the reason why I’ve had far too many headaches at night while I’m trying to sleep. I’ve heard many times that it helps to write down your thoughts.

Ideas become more clear.

New ideas form.

The complex becomes a bit simpler.

So this is a space for my musings. A space to ponder. A space where hopefully, once my fingers begin to type, the jumble becomes a bit more teased out.

But the many ideas and passions and interests that are in my head… well, they’re all exciting!

Or at least I think so.

I’m an introvert and think far too much about things. I consume content via blog articles, podcasts and audiobooks as if those mediums were going out of style. I’m always trying to pick up ways to be the best version of myself. Without reflection, how do I make sense of all that amazing learning? And how do I share that amazing learning?? Well, I plan to write about personal development tidbits and experiments; self care and wellness, such as my attempts at meditation, breathing and more quality sleep; goal setting and productivity; health, fitness and nutrition, and my ongoing minimalist journey. I completed an accredited coach training program that opened my eyes to a whole new and exciting world of coaching, where possibility is not just a buzz word. So I’ll be writing about my successes and struggles with getting a coaching side business off the ground. I’m also completing a nutrition certification course and thinking of diving into the world of fitness as a career. Now that’s a scary yet exciting prospect! As I’m open to possibilities, I’m open to seeing where this journal takes me.

So thank you for reading along. Let’s sit down, have a virtual cup of coffee, and reflect on more than just the weather!
